.If you always do things for gratitude you will always be disappointed. If you are kind and don’t expect anything in return that is the essence of true kindness. However there will always be those who will take advantage so it is good to learn when to be strong and stand up to those people. The best cure for a bad mood or hurt is to be good to someone else its free and it is wonderful, like holding a door open for someone, or giving your seat up on the train, not because you want gratitude, because being kind to others is pleasing to Allah and it feels good.

.When was the last time you gave charity? Charity is not limited to financial contributions. Your smile is a charity. encouraging and supporting others is a charity. Making people happy is a charity. S, don't deprive yourself from giving charity to others. Be positive and seek Allah's pleasure through helping others.

.Allah's Apostle used to pray eleven Rakat at night and that was his night prayer and each of his prostrations lasted for a period enough for one of you to recite fifty verses before Allah's Apostle raised his head. He also used to pray two Rakat (Sunna) before the (compulsory) Fajr prayer and then lie down on his right side till the Muadh-dhin came to him for the prayer.

.Sahl bin Sa'd (RAA) narrated, A man came to the Prophet and said, “O Allah`s Messenger (SAW), direct me to a deed which if I do it, I shall be loved by Allah and by people.” He replied, “If you practice abstinence in this world, Allah will love you, and if you abstain from (desiring) what people have, they will love you.” Related by Ibn Majah and others with a good chain of narrators.

.Friday Surah Kahf Reflection:

Ponder over the following verse and its message about the importance of good company and the dangers of bad company:
"Keep yourself content with those who call on their Lord in the morning and the evening, seeking His face. And do not let your eyes overlook them, desiring the pomp and glitter of the life of this world. And do not obey him whose heart I have made heedless of My remembrance; who follows his own lust and whose deeds have been lost." (Surah Kahf 18:28)

Success! Message received.
